The team at Australian Ethical Investment wanted their publication to stand out from standard financial updates, to give value to their subscribers at make them feel as good as their ethical investments.
Working with a very experienced communications team at Australian Ethical, we saw an opportunity to transform their regular magazine into something beautiful enough to live on your coffee table.
The challenge in front of us was to turn a discussion on ethical investment into a work of art.
We solved for this by crafting layouts that blended the photography available to us with attractive headings and pull-out features. The result is a well-integrated style, that showcases photos as engaging visual supports without appearing isolated.
With print, it’s not only the design that matters but how it feels when it’s in the supporters’ hands. We sourced and selected certified recycled stock, with an authentic matte finish, and managed preparation for a print run of 10,500 magazines – one of which can be found sitting proudly in Agency’s foyer, on our coffee table.
Together, we created something that can stand alongside the influential publications referenced in the design brief, something eye-catching and editorially convincing.
